Sony previewed features for their next-generation console, PlayStation 4, on February 20, 2013, and Microsoft previewed their new console XBox One on May 21, 2013.
Since their announcements, there have been a lot of controversies, and a lot of questions, about the features for both of these consoles. Below is an infographic featuring side by side comparisons on major features for both consoles, such as online connectivity, privacy issues, used games and their playability on the new consoles, mobile or second screen options, and indie game development.
Based on these major features, it looks like PlayStation 4 is the most favorable of the two consoles – with easy development for Indie game developers, no online connectivity required, and used games being allowed without limitations. XBox One wants to limit the use of used games on their console and want their system to be able to go online at least once every 24 hours.
