The next gen version of Tetris is going to be heading to PlayStation 4 courtesy of Ubisoft. Ubisoft, who is the developer of Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry, has locked up a license to develop new versions of the classic puzzle game for next gen gaming.
How will these new versions be? What features will they have? We can only speculate. But hopefully they use all of the new features on the PlayStation 4.
Ubisoft have yet to announce an official release date but maybe you can look forward to it in June, since it’s Tetris’ 30th anniversary.
“We’re very excited to start working with this world-renowned brand,” Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot said. “We can’t wait to combine Ubisoft’s expertise and all the capacities of next-gen consoles to create an exciting new Tetris experience for fans.”
