The beauty of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PlayStation 4 has been unmasked and of whose effect is connected to the effect of the player’s choice which implies that game will enhance a total of 36 ‘world states’ at the stage of game closure.
There is high hope that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PlayStation 4 will assume a gaming concept like The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. The nice gaming experience offered by the The Witcher 2 is based on choices made in the first chapter. Nothing is short of expectation that such may be the case with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PS4.
According to the marketing head at CD ProjeKt Red, Michael Platkow-Gilewski, there will be 36 varying “world states” at the end of the game, based on hundreds of decisions players will make over the course of the game. Those decisions are expected to merge into three separate and well-defined playable epilogues at the end of the game.
It is important to let you know that there is no plan to develop a game with a peculiar ending, rather, the ending is just a natural consequence of the storyline. By implication is that the story has hundreds of varying subplots and branches.
The gamer’s role will be to sum the elements of the game which are taken from the beginning and at some other points of the storyline up into epilogues. The CD Projekt Red Managing Director, Adam Badowski while answering questions from Polygon on how all of them will connect in the epilogue, added that the team had lots of things to summarize. “We didn’t spend time inventing endings; it was just the consequence of those choices.”
I believe that those who choose to play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PlayStation on PS4 will be offered a way to define Geralt’s history to match their gaming tastes. However, just like the predecessor, the PC version of The Witcher 3 will permit players to maintain continuity by importing their Witcher 2 saves.
We hope to see and enjoy The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PlayStation 4 comes 2014 even as it undergoes development for PC and PlayStation 4.
