Comming Soon: Sony’s Playstation Move

The PlayStation Move could cost less than $100.There has been very little news about the pricing of the new PlayStation Move controller. However, GameStop's Canadian site is showing the expected pricing (and release date).

GameStop priced it at $59.99 CAD which exchanges to about $58.77. But this could just be idle talk.

A UK magazine published an article saying that the controller will be "around £45." Both of these numbers could just be rumors, but it is lower than some earlier speculation.

Anyone buying the new controller will need to get the PlayStation Eye as well (which costs $40) to be able to take advantage of the new games that use motion-sensors.

Sony's Playstation Move was highly praised when it was introduced at in March 2010 at the 2010 Game Developers Conference in San Fransisco. PSMove will be released worldwide in fall 2010, however, Sony hasn't announced a specific date yet.
