SonyPS4.com recently ran a contest for designers and fans of the Sony Playstation brand to design what they think the Playstation 4 console could look like. Below is the design and concept model for the Playstation 4 that was above and beyond the most amazing design submitted. Throughout the entire site you can see various Playstation 4 designs and concepts, but this is the one we really think represents the current trends in design.
Playstation 4 Console 3 Color Options
There is a retro/tech design that has been incredibly popular in the last 5 years or so, and we find it incredibly likely that the Playstation 4 could offer this type of design, making it not just useful but more visually appealing as a part of every Playstation 4 owner's entertainment system. These designs are all produced on behalf of SonyPS4.com and do not represent anything from the actual Sony company, these concept designs for the Playstation 4 are to be considered fan art and do not represent anything official regarding the Playstation 4, as soon as an official design is released we will let you know.

I must say its different but the controllers are really thin idk if hardcore gamers would or can get a grip on them it will make it uncomfortable, just cause the consol is thin don’t mean the controllers got to be I mean look at the ps3 slim perfact but I must say awesome colors except the white go with black and red haha bank on that buddies=D have a great day.
With the Playstation Move coming out at the end of 2010 expect a whole new type of controller, and it to have motion control capabilities out of the box.

The console should certainly match the Sony electronics also in the front room…
The Playstation 4 is likely still at least a couple of years from an official announcement, especially with the recent announcement of the Playstation Move…

Can you say overheat much. If this is what sony is leaning towards everyone needs to brain storm to come up with new ideals.
I just yawned at least 5 times since I’ve looked at this.
I can see that the world is leaning towards slimmer objects, but still things need to be thought through. We didn’t just move 5 steps forward to be kicked 11 steps back. The system kind of reminds me of sega. Come on, if they are going to make a new system don’t make something that looks like one of my 5 star binders.
plus… please don’t say I am a x box fan boy or some crap like that. I have both the big ps3 and ps3 slim. I am a hard core gamer and I do sit in my pajamies and watch spongebob. I just keepin it real ^_^

To much red and it looks like it should be on star trek or something.
and it looks cheasy you want people to adore the this ps4 as like a prize possesion or a kid in toys r us. i wanna be happier than horse poop every day to look forward to coming home to playing the ps4 not resting my feet on one. yeah oh yeah. it better be right or im not spendin Rrrrrrrrrrrr….
The person that created the images did a good job however I am not a fan of the design. How are we suppose to stand it up without the console tipping over? It’s TOO flat… if you try setting it in a shelf it will take up so much room and possibly part of the console will be hanging off the shelf. I also do not like the colors. It won’t look good sitting next to my other gaming consoles as well as my DVD player.
Regardless of what the official design will look like, I’m still planning to jump back with Sony in the next gaming generation. After all of the bullshit with Microsoft’s Xbox 360 it’s really hard to trust them anymore.
This game is sutible of God of War because it is so red like blood. It is also the newest Playstation around hora!!!!!
