Sony Launches Two Sales for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita

Sony Launches Two Sales for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita

For the PlayStation gamers out there like me, it is raining sales.

Since the PlayStation 4 was released in November 2013, Sony has been letting the sales flow for PlayStation Plus members, who get freebies every month. There have been some pretty significant titles released for free on the PS Vita, PS3 and PS4.

Sony is now launching a pair of sales, at the same time. The first is for the second anniversary of the PlayStation Vita handheld device. The Vita had a slow launch before the PS4 helped boost the sales of the handheld. To celebrate the anniversary of the PlayStation Vita, Sony is going to offer some good looking games on the device for some great looking prices, there will be cross buy games like Castlestorm, Proteus, Stick it to  the Man, Escape Plan, and thatgamecompany’s two hits, Flower and Flow. Also worth noting, Killzone Mercenary is also on sale.

Also along with this anniversary sale for the PS Vita there will be a Back to 2013 sale which will run across all the consoles. The focus of the sale is stated in the graphic for it “Great games you may have missed in 2013.” Some titles that are on the list and worth noting are Diablo III, the Ultimate Edition of Injustice: Gods Among Us, Persona 4 Arena, The Walking Dead: Season 2 and its season pass. And if the Vita sales weren’t enough there are some vita only listings like Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and cross buy games like Super Motherload that were not on the Vita’s anniversary list. The Back to 2013 Sale begins today so be on the lookout for it.

The PlayStation Plus members get an additional discount from the already on sale items. An example would be WWE 2K14 which was listed at $59.99, the sale’s price for the game is $39.99, for PS Plus members the game will be available for just $29.99.

These sales are one of the many reasons to buy a PlayStation console, and it speaks to PlayStation wanting to become more of a platform than just a console.
