Review of Warframe on the PlayStation 4

Lately many people have been getting disappointed with the next gen consoles because of the lack of diversity in games and a few game breaking bugs on different games. I am here to tell you worry not, diversity is coming and the bugs will be fixed eventually, but meanwhile we wait for these bugs to be fixed we can find something else to do. I have been one to like free to play games, starting with Spartacus back on the PS3; it was a pretty good play in my opinion, though not all may agree.

In Warframe you play as Tenno, a race of futuristic soldiers, the game consists of third person action shooting and it has tight acrobatic controls; it focuses mainly on co-operative play versus waves of enemies.

The startup of the game is pretty simple and straight forward, you pick a few different options and straight to the battlefield you go, to face off against endless waves of enemies. There are different objectives that can be completed which punctuate the waves. Most of the game’s good kits can be obtained by grinding the waves. After a while playing the game you’ll have enough game dollars to buy your powerful weaponry to replace your low level stuff.

While the game is a bit long you are given missions along the way that makes the game seem less mind numbing. Playing and completing missions, especially hard ones mostly awards you blueprints which you can use to upgrade your weaponry.

The only drawback with Warframe is the many different ads requesting you to buy premium currency which may turn a lot of people away before they even try the game itself. But for those of you who did make this get to you I advise you to go back and give the game another try, it isn’t a half bad time killer; and after investing about 20 hours into the game, you’ll find yourself very advanced in it.
