RPG, FPS, and Action games are all the rave. Mortal Kombat won’t ever again be good. It was great in it’s prime, but it got old. Beside’s there are a million fighting games all over. Get your Nintendo out if you must play some mortal kombat. Even the movie didn’t make much profit.

As for lame-unheard of titles? What’s so bad about new games coming out? With different stories and motives, and gameplay? Nothing. Lol, if you honestly spend your money on these consoles just to get updated versions of games barely anyone cares about anymore, that’s cool, but I actually enjoy busting out some multiplayer COD, and any games that hit the shelf. They should put mortal kombat on the wii, a crap game for a crap system.

And if you want to be serious, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has broken selling records worldwide. Final Fantasy games are becoming less and less imitations of the once amazing final fantasy 7, and becoming there own stories. Which attracts more people. The only people who complain are those who think they are hardcore final fantasy fans. But are really only final fantasy 7 fans. They whine that the same characters, fighting styles, etc. that were acceptable on those crap systems of the time have been changed to give more difficulty, strategy, and add more elements to an rpg other than random battles. It’s all about moving forward, and getting more people to play with.

Since consoles are going the 3D as well as motion way, I’d rather see some really interactive games than omg I’m fighting Sonya from Mortal Kombat, like I did for years and years, the only new thing is better graphics, whoo hoo. Either get with the times, or go find a retro arcade where nerds from the eighties get together and play crappy games.
