Over a two day period since the launch of the PlayStation 4 in Japan, Sony’s new console has sold 322,083 according to Famitsu.
The PlayStation 4 was released in Japan for 39,980 yen and 43,980 yen when it was bundled with its PlayStation Eye Camera add-on. Gamers who bought the PlayStation 4 doing its launch event got Knack for free. Famitsu has a sales tracking service, which had in its records that the PlayStation 3 had sold 88,443 over a two day period when it was released in Japan on November 11th, 2006.
A few days after the PlayStation 4 was released in North America, Sony announced that the PlayStation 4 had sold over one million units in a 24 hour period after its launch. Sony revealed earlier this month that the PlayStation 4 had sold over 5.3 million units up until February 8th worldwide, according to data from the NPD Group.
