Gamers in North America, Europe and Australia, where the PlayStation 4 was released months ago may be surprised to know that the console has yet to reach its homeland in Japan. But just 24 hours from now the PS4 will be released to their hometown fans.
As we’ve already seen Dragon Ball can be used to explain just about everything, so here is a piece of information that compares the PS4 to the PS3 – with the specs being converted into battle strength. If Frieza was a PlayStation 4, just how strong would he be?
Frieze in his Strongest Form
The PlayStation 3 was released by Sony in 2006, was Frieza in his first form, when his Power Level was only 530,000. The PS4 would be something like his fourth form, where his Power Level is 60 million.
With the 8 GB of RAM on the PlayStation 4 the console has 16 times more RAM than the PlayStation 3, this would be like Frieza having the ability to shoot 16 death beams at once.
The PS4 packs 8 times the punch of the PS3, with the console having an 8 core processor. That’s a mercenary Ginyu Force of 40 warriors.
With the GDDR5 memory, the PS4 processes much faster than the PS3 did. If we were talking about Frieze he’d be able to move seven times faster.
While I am not entirely sure how they came up with these Dragon Ball comparison specs, whoever came up with it is a genius. With people like me who have fell in love with the PS4 a long time ago, the differences seem to sum up the power of the PS4. Let’s hope whoever created the original post can get a console this weekend to become a couch potato like the rest of us.
