Though the survey reports are yet to be published officially, the comments around the forum expressed their expectation on the device. Almost 45% of the expectation went positive for a motion sensing, controller-free device, i.e. playing games without any controller device. Though this is feature is available in most recently released Microsoft consoles, people had set their expectation for Sony’s standard. On the other side PC game lovers expressed their hatred about playing games by crazily jumping around the consoles without controlling from a comfortable position.

Every device has its own pros and cons as per their users. Most users expressed their need for a high definition projector to be embedded on the device so that they don’t need to connect in any TV. Many other users supported the high resolution of upcoming device with a 360 and 3D gaming experience. A smaller group of people expect it to support new trend OS for their research activities by using this device chips as a super computers.

All gamers have their own requirement for a gaming device but, to be more successful in the market, Sony is keen in upgrading their upcoming device with more advanced requirements and features. As a core gaming console user I would like this device to give me more realistic gaming experience by running around and playing without any controllers rather than sitting idle in a place. Gaming is always fine when you play it with full interest and involvement, let’s wait and see what Sony brings in for us.

This application is rumored to use cloud computing to give access to the PS4 customers to play the game in the cloud and provide an on-demand service. Whenever any user needs to play a specific game they don’t need to download it, just they need to subscribe to the game available in the cloud and they will be provided access to play the game whenever they need. This cloud application is rumored to be released with the beta version which is expected to solve memory issues and is expected to have huge drop in price of PlayStation 4 despite its high end configuration. The benefit: we won’t have to worry about upgrading to the next step up harddrive, since the cloud stores it and not the console itself.

Users subscribed to the games will have a virtual drive other than the internal hard drive and the subscribed games will have a shortcut in that virtual drive so that user doesn’t need to authenticate again through cloud. Though this rumor doesn’t have a strong source, this technical change is expected from all gadget providers as cloud computing is the upcoming solution for disc space related issues. If this is implemented PS4 will be the first device which has a built in on-demand game service provider, since other game consoles use downloading onto a harddrive instead.

Though several third party applications provides a limited on-demand gaming service in PlayStation 3, this new application in Playstation 4 is expected to bring huge turnover to the gaming market as it provides access to play games through PlayStation 4′s authentication service and with which users can play in the same way as they play through internal/external hard discs. The only drawback: any time someone wants to plan a game, they must be online. No more playing some little game without PSN friends knowing.

In PlayStation 4, Sony has a plan to renovate the NRDM system through a single user authorization system mapped to a single device which will restrict the re-usability of games and distribution of games to different consoles. Sony’s strict policy on Digital Management will lead to the use of more copy protected products and Sony believes it will produce good revenue.

Will it? Or will it simply anger consumers and risk their costumer base? After all, many gamers buy used games or rent; how can they do that, if each game is only allowed to be used on one console? If the PS4 is anti-used games, what will happen? That means gamers will have to shell out the full price of a game to play it!

For some good news, rumors say PlayStation 4 has more pre-installed software for better experience of digital media. It comes with a Photo Gallery application which will enable users to view, edit, make collages, and will provide option to publish in all popular social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. A previous version of this software was already tested as an optional application in PlayStation 3.

The current version of this Photo Gallery application provides a key feature to organize photos with several categories like color paring, age pairing, expression pairing. This application acts as an image recognition tool rather than a simple photo preview application. Another PlayStation 3 application called Play Memories is a three dimensional photo viewing tool, which is believed to be integrated with PlayStation 4’s default photo preview application. This application is believed to support a three dimensional zooming feature and with the support of HDMI devices, a complete high definition Photo output can be rendered.

PS3 has a High Definition blue ray optical drive reader which gives option for users to play High definition Blu-Ray discs, which is only one of the unique features PlayStation has over the competitors. In general, PlayStation has a built in internal memory of several volumes of GB, which gives access to downloadable games directly from PSN to console. Rumors say that the PlayStation 4 will implement Cloud drives to avoid usage of internal memory for game downloads, so the cloud network will need expansive storage space.

PlayStation 4 is expected to have Blu-Ray writer features, which is possible on PCs at a high cost. It supports high definition video output and it provides support to connect to all latest high definition televisions. Almost all the latest gadgets support HDMI, but not all the devices provide a quality resolution. PlayStation 4 may have a resolution improvement up to 4096X2160 with 1080p full high definition picture clarity output. Most desktop computers are not even close to this resolution. PlayStation 4 also will continue supporting high definition 5.1 Dolby digital surround sound experience. PS4 will also of course provide support for both wireless and Bluetooth devices, allowing easy connection to a wireless keyboard, mouse, and headset, and supports other wireless devices to provide wider access and great experience with the device. In PlayStation 3 only premium version has access to wireless but it’s is assumed to be integrated with the basic version of PlayStation 4 itself.

PlayStation 4 should provide quick access to USB devices, SD & Flash memory cards, allowing users to play games and medias through external devices via the USB port and memory card slots. The PS4 has the high end power of PC processors and a GPU which provides ultra-fast processing and supports multitasking which enable us to use multiple processes at a same time. The high resolution graphics of this console will pull any PC gamer towards console gaming.

In PlayStation 3, users were allowed to install a custom operating system but later which lead to lot of security threats to the console. So Sony has closed this loophole through a firmware patch upgrade and it has become a huge setback in the Sony’s innovations. PlayStation 4 is believed to be shipped with a pre-installed Linux OS and it is rumored to have ability to support more custom operating systems as per the customer need–and we’re hoping this may be true.

Sony’s PlayStation 4 is expected to have a drastic hardware change with more improvement in the speed and performance. It’s more expected that PlayStation 4 may use AMD x64 CPU and AMD Southern Island GPU. Though these PS4 processor specs configuration are believed to be rumors, the future gaming generation expects more realistic game experience.

Sony’s Co-competitor Microsoft is also believed to drastically improve their next-gen console, the Xbox 720. The cutting edge gaming technology has a top performance notch with the Southern Island GPU, as it’s very fast and powerful. Southern Island GPU is been in market for almost two years and most of the gaming console producers are following the performance of Radeon GPU family. It supports x86 addressing with a unified address space for CPU and GPU. It has a wide range of support to enable virtual memory through DirectX and OpenGL. It has a capability to adjust the performance during an overheat situation.

The cooling technology of this GPU gives a new energy for the console manufacturers. The Hard disc space of PS3 is proven to be inevitably increased after the success of 320GB slim model. It’s believed that Sony doesn’t produce any models less than 120 GB. The starting model of Sony PlayStation 4 will have 120 GB and it may increase to 160, 250, 320, 500 GBs and the maximum hard disc space model is expected to be 640 GB. Though Sony concentrates on increasing the disc space they are intended to stick towards the slim models as the recent introduction of slim PS3 models were all success.

Since PS4 games will be such high resolution, the memory in the console needs to be capable of dealing and storing this data. That’s why we know the PS4 will have high end hardware chips to provide huge disc space, but it’s expected to be slim and sleek design with a variety of colors. Now Sony concentrates more on the design aspects, as we saw with the PS3. Even though it was originally released in regular black, the PS3 eventually released in Classic White, chrome trim, Ceramic white, stain silver, Gunmetal gray, Cloud black, Charcoal black, Titanium blue, white and pink combo, Splash blue and scarlet red.

So, in light of Sony changing the PS3 colors, we wonder if the PS4 will be the standard black or if it will vary the colors and design to stimulate a more digitally evolved world.

The newer versions of the PS3, like the 40/80/120GB consoles, didn’t support the backward compatibility of playing PS1 & PS3 games. Whereas the Sony’s next generation gaming console, which is codenamed Orbis, is believed to stop the backward compatibility. This is not just a rumor, but surmised due to the high definition resolution of PS4 games, since PS1-3 games lack the same quality of graphics. When compared to the other PlayStation consoles, this next generation console seems to stand alone on the processing speed and graphic display. As only PS3 games could reach 1080p, and the PS4 will be beyond that, it would be pointless to waste time and money by placing the chips inside of the console. However, the PS4 console may support few of the PS3 games. Hopefully, these will include our favorite titles, like Uncharted and MW3.

The PS2 & PS1 games are already out of sight, and the introduction of PS4 will erase the traces of PS3 games too. The inability of backward compatibility may be a huge hit to the console marketing but the changes in hardware creates a new generation of gaming experience which may win this race of next-gen consoles, despite the flaw of older games. The new generation gamers won’t bother about the old games when they get a life like gaming experience.

We expect the gaming experience to go wild when it moves to 3D, vastly improving resolution and providing a lively gaming experience. The resolution for PS4 game graphics is expected to be 4096 X 2160 and it’s believed to have a Full High Definition 1080p to produce a more realistic gaming experience when compared to that of PS3.

There has been a wide rumor that Sony is introducing a new authentication procedure for the game disc in PS4. This is assumed to bring an end to the second hand gaming market. Sony is very keen in bringing more customers towards the PSN store rather than going to the piracy/rental market. This authentication process is believed to be mapped to a single user with which the disc is forced to register before playing the game so that the particular disc will work only on the registered particular console. This new authentication process will be implemented for the games downloaded through the PlayStation Network.

Not only Sony, even Microsoft has introduced the similar concept in all their latest version of games. All the users need to login to their valid/purchased account in order to activate the game. If any ore activated disc is inserted in new console the users will be able to play only trial version and there won’t be any way to activate the game. This type of game authentication has become a threat to the hackers and piracy producers as this authentication process is built with in the console.

It’s not a surprise to the gaming market and it’s believed to bring great revenue to Sony through PlayStation Network. Though the hackers are troubleshooting a way to crack the games, developers are trying to close down all the available loop holes. Most of the hackers believe that SONY cannot restrict their customers to stay online all the time to play a game. There must be a way to play games offline. The war between game developers & hackers is expected to reach its peak because of this new authentication process, and it may even risk their customer base, since most gamers buy used games. If the PS4 disables used games, then they threaten to cut their consumer base dramatically.

Yeah, I don’t like playing Bingo on my computer or in person; it’s too slow-paced. But if I’m on the go and want to spend a few minutes here and there dedicated to getting my numbers, cell phone apps are definitely the way to go. I’m not so lame I’ll spend all of my free time on a game like Bingo (I do have a PS3, after all), but I have to admit: cell phone apps rule the market for quick and forgettable games.

While Mobile Bingo isn’t an app, it is a good place to find apps for Bingo. It has reviews on mobile apps, plus codes for discounts or extra stuff back. I like free stuff; don’t you?

But Mobile Bingo also has apps that you can actually play with real money. While the rules will vary depending on the specific app and your country, it’s still a fun opportunity.

First off, the tool is created by a bunch of IT specialists and graphic designers with about 10 years experience. It kind of shows: when we played with the logo creator, the designs were simple yet complex enough to look more expensive than we shockingly discovered them to be.

We found out we could toy with the logo for free, so of course we did. LOGASTER  is pretty easy to navigate, so we just hit “create” and voila! We were able to put in the name we wanted, a slogan if we wanted, and a business type. Then it immediately generates about 20 pages of logos. They include randomized fonts and placements, as well as a symbol; these all correlate to the business type it is. At any time, you can go back and edit the logo info, including the color family it draws from. After all that, you’re even able to switch the placement up a bit. Pretty easy!
