Sony’s next generation machine has been holding the early lead in the new generation of consoles; Sony sold 4.2 million PS4’s in 2013, opposed to only 3 million XB1’s sold by Microsoft. Putting the sales aside though, it seems that there is also a clear difference in terms of specs. While the Xbox One has a great cloud service that developers can take advantage of; the PlayStation 4 packs a lot more power straight off the shelf. Each approach seems to have their own benefit; but not it looks like Xbox One gamers have just got some bad news regarding “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes,” the highly anticipated game by Konami.
The game Director at Konami told us last week that the two versions of the game would have different resolutions. Both games would work with 60fps but the Xbox One would have 720p resolution while the PlayStation 4 version would boast a 1080p resolutions.
DualShockers gathered some screenshots so we could preview the PS3, PS4, XB1, and XB360 versions of the game. What is clear with the comparison is that the PS4 and XB1 both have huge improvements over the PS3 and XB360; what you can also see is that PlayStation 4 owners will have a little better experience in the game than Xbox One owners since the full will be full HD.
