Is Play Station 4 going to beat XBOX 360?

Rumors are widely spreading that Microsoft is getting ready with the successor of Xbox 360, the Xbox 720. There has been a lot of competition in the consoles market, and Microsoft has decided to fight out with all new launch of their latest console! Sony is working on the PlayStation 4 in response to Microsoft’s launch. Fans of the gaming consoles are eagerly awaiting the launch!

“All singing all dancing!” approach of Sony may often cause a problem to it. One may wonder if they follow their classic ‘Trojan horse’ approach .They are known to bundle their software they wanted to push.Ps2 is a good example for this approach which came out with a DVD and PS3 which came with a blue ray was influential for the fall down of HD-DVD. One could regard this way of Sony to be a mixed success. Many don’t take full advantage of the ps3 and keep it for the sake of games alone. One needs to reap in all functionalities to appreciate this approach of Sony. There are many competitors like DVR’s, Apple TV’s and media centric pc in the market trying to take care of ones digital hub needs. Sony has to squeeze in among its competitors for providing digital solutions.

Wii proves to be a master of all trades and attributes all its success in focusing on a single functionality rather than providing many. The music and movie content of Sony Library and its unique concept of digital hub will again encourage it to follow a similar approach.

A blue-ray is considered as a gap filler between the DVD and the internet downloads. This format has been introduced very recently and before its introduction good HD quality movies were available for download from Apple and Microsoft.Ps3 has helped Blue ray to win the device war ,but lots of complications made it to lose the battle among the consoles and it s cost made Sony the loser. It is better that Sony understands that the future of content distribution is downloads rather than discs!

It has tried a step similar to Apple in removing the floppy disc drive and optical drive in their Mac operating system. DVR fills the gap between the broadcast and on demand service. There has been tremendous growth in the internet area that even sports and new can be watched lively! One may regard iTunes store to have so much future. A full streaming DVR is in near future!

Sony may focus more on providing solutions via internet rather than using DVR’s for its promotional purposes. Taking all these points one may pop up into a conclusion that the Sony’s PS4 may exclude the features of PS4 in it! T here are many more expectations from Sony which includes a faster and wireless device with a 80.211n at least! Best processors like cell processors are expected with a Ati or Nvidia graphic card .Its existing controller is regarded as perfect by the gamers and a similar controller is expected in this PS4!Hope it satisfies all the expectation of the gamers!
