The top-down shooter from Housemaque, Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition, is on its way to the PlayStation 4, this according to the PlayStation Asia Hong Kong Blog, who showed that Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition would be launching in March in the region.
The blog shows that Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition is going to be absolutely free for PlayStation Plus members in the Hong Kong region from March 6th, along with other games which includes Tokyo Jungle and Malicious Rebirth. There is no information about the game being released in other regions yet.
Dead Nation was originally released on the PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3 in North America in 2010. In the game you take on the role of one of two zombie apocalypse survivors, Scarlett Blake or Jack McReady, as they go on an adventure to collect samples from Patient Zero of the apocalypse so they can try to find a cure. The PS3 version of the game had 10 levels, co-op gameplay which uses the two protagonists and it also featured upgradable weaponry.
