My big question is: “Will the PS4′s capabilities be ultimately downplayed by game companies that want their games to be available to other consoles of the time? (Just like the PS3)” As a PS3 owner, it is like a swift kick when I hear or see that a game is available for the 360 also. Simply because they had to, more or less, limit the game to the size of a DVD. That being said, I hope that there are more games that actually use the resources the console has to offer in the case that there is another gap such as there is between the PS3 and the 360.

I think these rumors are a way for Sony to develop their plan without people finding out. It’s like a distraction to keep the competitors from knowing their move however, companies have been dumb enough to allow greed take control of them and end up failing. Look at many companies that failed in the past because of greed.

The PS4 should be thought out, and then thought out again before release.
The PS2 and PS3 have run into major problems with the early release models…over heating, etc. Now, with the PS network having been hacked, it is very, very important to build in firewalls far beyond what are in place now.
Games with advanced creativity should be on the menu as well…but simplified user playability should be job 1. there are still too many games that come out, and it takes a week to figure out the way the controls are configured, before you can leap into playing the stratagy part of the GSME.

im a xbox 360 guy but when the ps4 comes out im getting it because xbox720 going to bomb and plus alot of my freinds are getting it but i will miss halo

it should be a hand free game system. something like on the movie iron man 2, in reaction to movement interaction .maybe some voice action tech as well. and a auto save sleep setting.
